We are seeking an experienced Agriculture Vocational Trainer to join our team, specializing in Horticulture. The trainer will design, deliver, and evaluate vocational training programs for aspiring horticulturists. The goal is to equip trainees with the technical skills, knowledge, and practices required for a successful career in horticulture.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Conduct hands-on training sessions on horticulture operations, including plant cultivation, pruning, and pest management

Ø Teach trainees how to use essential tools and equipment, such as greenhouses and irrigation systems

Ø Develop and deliver training modules on horticulture topics, including:

   - Plant physiology and growth habits

   - Soil science and fertility management

   - Entomology and pest management

   - Irrigation and water management

   - Crop selection and planning

Ø Assess trainees' progress and provide constructive feedback

Ø Maintain accurate records and ensure training adheres to industry standards

Ø Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training is relevant and effective

Ø Develop and implement assessments to evaluate trainee learning outcomes

Ø Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees in developing their skills and knowledge

Ø Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in horticulture

Ø Participate in curriculum development and revision to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective

Ø  Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes trainee engagement and participation

Qualification

Ø  Graduation in Agriculture  Horticulture from a recognized Institute/University

 Experience

Ø  1 year of work or teaching experience in Agriculture , horticulture or a related field

  Age

18 to 37yr
