Unusual noises, vibrations, leaks, and alignment issues, Helps in replacing: Belts, bearings, pneumatic lines, sensors, and mechanical fasteners.

Follows PM checklists and schedules for machines, Records: Oil levels, coolant changes, filter cleaning, and fastener tightening, Tracks basic machine health parameters (RPM, pressure, temperature);  Familiar with Motor starters (DOL/Star-Delta), MCBs, relays, Panel checks, cabling, earthing, and lighting issues, Supports electricians during minor troubleshooting.

Reads: Mechanical assembly drawings, Spare part diagrams for maintenance tasks, Refers to manufacturer manuals for correct service procedures.

Maintains logs of: Breakdowns, repair history, and service records, Spare part usage and pending maintenance tasks; Uses correct PPE (gloves, shoes, safety glasses, Follows lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices before starting any service, Keeps work area clean and tools safely stored after task completion; Helps analyze:

Recurring faults in machines, Causes of frequent part failures or misalignments; Communicates with: Machine operators to understand problems before intervening, Spare part vendors or service providers (under supervision).

Enters maintenance activities in: Excel sheets or ERP system, Tracks daily machine availability and planned maintenance schedules.
