Areas of Responsibilities

• The Engineering manager will be Domain architect of the Data Networking System / Backbone Transmission network System and Facility SCADA who understands the DATA networking system and Facility SCADA system in depth and can add value to the organization while developing the Design of BTN /DTS System and Facility SCADA system in EDRC -S&T for MRT and Mainline Projects.

• The Role requires creating and develop the design deliverables for CCTV surveillance system for Mainline and MRT Projects Nationally and International.
  • The candidate should have relevant experience in the low level, high level designing of Backbone / data transmission network system and Facility SCADA for MRT – Mass Rapid Transit and Mainline Railways Projects. The candidate should also be able to carry out the system configuration & TnC works at site as and when required.
  • Candidate should be able to prepare the management plans, detailed design, Interface design, testing procedures, method statements, software quality assurance plans for MRT and Mainline Data Network System and Facility SCADA System.
  • Candidate should have worked on the SDH- Synchronous Hierarchy System, FAM- flexible access multiplexer system like Loop telecom, Tejas, Coral and Puncom etc.
• Candidate should have Knowledge of IP-MPLS- Multi Protocol Label Switching technology for BTN Network Switches, Layer -3 Routers and Aggregators and Access / Physical Layer -2 switches and Wi-Fi Access Points both Indoor and outdoor. Relevant experience on OEM’s make like CISCO, Juniper, Nokia, HP, and Belden is preferred. 
• Candidate should have the knowledge to configure the Application Data Network Servers like DNS, LDDAP, NMS, DNAC, Wireless Controllers in the Rail network.
• Knowledge of OFC Cables Single mode, Multimode, SFP Ports configurations, OTDR testing parameters, Fiber losses should be known.
• Candidate should have knowledge of the applicable standards and protocols like IEEE, ITUT, TCP/IP, ETSI, SNMP, SNTP, IT-UT, ICMP, AAA, NTP, PTP, BGP, STP, SIP, Spanning Tree (SPT) etc. applicable.
• Candidate should have ideas about the software and hardware assurance and quality standards LikeEN50128 and EN50129
• Candidates should be able to design the IP Schema IPV4-IPV6, VLAN network, DMZ polices, AAA Policy rule for small and complex data networks.
• Knowledge of the OPCUA, MODBUS, IEC-104, TCP/IP, NTP, SNMP, SNTP ,ASCII, MIB Protocols 
• AI knowledge for behaviour detection and abnormal conditions 
• Face Recognition and VMS and Video analytics System knowledge 
• Sizing the bandwidth and storage for the NVR and the storage array 
• PTZ, Dome, Fixed and Bullet and Night Vision Camera specification and knowledge 
• Sizing the Wi-Fi requirement for On board Camera solution
