Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding machines based on job requirements (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.).
• Weld metal components together using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality; perform corrective actions as needed.
• Operate grinders, cutters, and other tools to prepare and finish metal surfaces.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to meet production goals.
• Document work performed and maintain records as required.

🧪 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder in the metal industry (2–5 years preferred).
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with metal types (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Certification from a recognized welding institute (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.

🏭 Preferred Experience

• Experience in structural welding, pipe welding, or sheet metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of CNC plasma cutting or robotic welding systems.
• Exposure to ISO or ASME standards in manufacturing.
