Job Title: Picker Packer

Job Summary:

A Picker Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. The role involves working in a warehouse or distribution center environment and ensuring all orders are filled correctly and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders from shelves or inventory using a scanner or picking sheet

• Pack items securely in appropriate packaging materials

• Label and prepare packages for shipment

• Verify items picked match order specifications (size, quantity, type)

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines

• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors

• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed

• Meet productivity and accuracy targets

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior warehouse or order fulfillment experience a plus, but not required

• Ability to lift up to [30-50 lbs] regularly

• Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periods

• Basic math and reading skills

• Attention to detail and good organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse setting

• May involve exposure to varying temperatures, depending on facility

• Use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, scanners, or forklifts (if certified)
