Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other materials as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.
Prepare and clean metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and sanding before welding.
Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for the specific task.
Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot welding problems and make necessary adjustments to improve quality.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
Follow all safety guidelines, using appropriate protective gear (e.g., helmets, gloves, and goggles).
Keep track of materials used and report any supply shortages to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of welding experience, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot welding issues as they arise.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and work in challenging environments.
