Position Title: Senior Technician Shop Floor (Tyre Manufacturing)

About the Role: We are seeking highly skilled and experienced ITI professionals to join our shop floor operations at our state-of-the-art tire manufacturing facility in Balasore. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise, leadership in operational excellence, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery in line with tyre manufacturing processes.

• Lead a small team of operators/technicians, providing technical guidance and mentoring.

• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance support to ensure minimal downtime.

• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times.

• Monitor process parameters and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.

• Troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor and coordinate with maintenance teams for quick resolution.

• Maintain accurate shift records, production logs, and machine performance reports.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI certification in any trade

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in a tyre manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of tyre production processes, machinery, and quality control.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.

• Good communication and team leadership skills.

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality excellence.

Shift & Work Conditions:

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts).

• Physically fit to work in a manufacturing environment with extended periods on the shop floor.

• Height 5'6" and above

• Weight 55 KG and above
