Manages tool life tracking, cost control, and delivery planning; Deep understanding of: Fabrication process flows (bending, welding, punching, shearing.

Solar structure component drawings (rails, clamps, brackets), Identifies tooling improvements to reduce rejection and rework; Collaborates with QC team for: First article inspection (FAI) of new tools, Validating tool accuracy using CMM.

Height gauge, micrometers, dial indicators; Maintains: Tool history records, maintenance logs, tool usage registers.

Drawings and revisions for each tool; Supports audits with traceable documentation; Leads a team of: Tool makers, machinists, die fitters, and apprentices.

Trains team in: Precision standards, machine handling, and safety practices; Leads RCA for: Tool failure.

High rejection rates or improper fitting, Suggests design changes, material improvements, or process tweaks.

Works closely with: Design, production, quality, and purchase departments, Advises on tool feasibility during new product development.
