Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Welder cum Fitter to join our machinery manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have experience in welding, metal fabrication, and fitting work, ensuring high-quality production of components and structures as per engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on metal parts and components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to complete fabrication tasks.
• Fit and assemble metal structures, frames, and machine components using cutting, bending, and welding techniques.
• Operate grinders, cutters, and hand tools for precise fabrication and finishing.
• Conduct inspection and quality checks to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain safety standards and follow welding procedures to prevent defects and hazards.
• Repair and modify existing metal structures and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams for efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding / Fitting or relevant certification.
• 2+ years of experience in welding, fabrication, and fitting (preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication industry).
• Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick welding) and metalworking tools.
• Ability to work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and quality control in welding and fabrication.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a factory environment.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in heavy machinery fabrication.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic fitting.
• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and machine maintenance.
