II. The Role: The Manager - Infrastructure and Facilities will oversee and manage all aspects of infrastructure, facilities, and associated services for the Vision India group. This role ensures operational excellence, cost optimization, and a safe, productive, and engaging environment for employees and stakeholders.
III. Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilities Management:
- Oversee daily operations of office spaces, training centers, and residential facilities.
- Ensure timely maintenance and upkeep of all infrastructure, including utilities, equipment, and amenities.
- Manage housekeeping, security, and vendor relationships for seamless service delivery.
2. Infrastructure Development:
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions in alignment with organizational growth.
- Ensure all projects adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams for efficient execution.
3. Operational Efficiency:
- Optimize facility operations to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
- Implement and monitor energy-saving initiatives and environmentally-friendly practices.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities and infrastructure-related activities.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, legal regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
5. Team and Vendor Management:
- Lead and motivate the facilities team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Manage vendor contracts and evaluate service quality to maintain high standards.
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including government authorities, for approvals and compliance.
6. Employee Engagement:
- Create and maintain an engaging and comfortable workplace environment.
- Address employee feedback regarding facilities and infrastructure, ensuring prompt resolutions.
7. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, safety regulations, and operational processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
