Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization tasks, which may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Supervise and maintain general & systemic cleanliness in Township and Plant and initiate corrective measures.
• Supervise and guide implementation of measures to prevent communicable diseases with respect to sanitation and hygiene conditions.
• To ensure proper cleaning of drainage, periphery, creek, pathway, terrace of quarters during monsoon, tank cleaning, clusters etc.
• Assist in Festivals/ Celebration arrangements, attend complaints and pest control activities.
• Supervise and conduct visits to Township and Plant for assessment of cleanliness and hygienic practices and ensure the desirable standards are maintained.
• Maintaining record register and ensuring implementation of Sanitation policy of the institution/ community as per the applicable norms and guidelines.
• Guide waste disposal (solid, liquid and sewage) appropriately and supervise with minimum harm to the environment.
• Ensure maintenance, cleaning and smooth operations of overhead and underground water tank, sewage pumps and drainage chambers through machine.
• Supervise and implement techniques of sterilization and disinfection – if any.
• Assist in organizing and setting up rooms for meetings, events, or other special functions as required.
