Job Title: Trainee/Operator - Production

Location—Balasore (Odisha)

Department: Production

Salary—INR 13000-INR 14000

Industry: Tyre Manufacturing 

Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:

  Operating and monitoring various machines used in the production process, such as mixing machines, calendaring machines, tyre building machines, and curing presses.

• Production Assistance:

  Assisting senior operators and technicians in various production tasks, including loading raw materials, feeding materials into machines, and removing finished products.

• Quality Control:

  Inspecting materials and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards, and reporting any deviations.

• Machine Maintenance:

  Performing basic maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, and reporting any malfunctions to the maintenance team.

• Troubleshooting:

  Assisting in identifying and troubleshooting basic machine malfunctions and process issues.

• Following Procedures:

  Adhering to all safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Record Keeping:

  Maintaining accurate records of production data, material usage, and machine performance.

• Housekeeping:

  Maintaining a clean and organized work area. 

Qualifications:

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in a relevant trade such as fitter, turner, machinist, electrician, or rubber technology. 
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. 
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions. 
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. 
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. 
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle physically demanding tasks.
