Role: Safety

Location: Paradeep & Gopalpur in Odisha

Job Description

  • Periodic Review of the HIRA and JSA for sign off for specific Jobs
  • To coordinate with Head Project for monthly Central Safety Committee Meeting including documentation outcome/ action plan
  • Tracking of safety observations made by the respective employee, follow up for the closure and analysis
  • Conduct monthly theme-based drives including different Health and Safety Campaigns
  • Conduct the Induction training of the workmen/new & lateral joinee
  • Monitor the TBT, Joint Health &Safety Round/ Inspections, Coordinate with TPSDI for arranging L1, L2 and L3 training, arrange for classroom training & BBS and site-specific training
  • Participation as CFT member for competency assessment of workmen
  • Conduct emergency mock drills • Conduct risk assessment as per THSMS 13 elements and enforce preventative measures
  • Input for issuance of safety violation memo/notices/penalty letters
  • Support for the development of OHS policies and programs

Qualification:

  • Recognized degree (AICTE approved institute) in any branch of engineering or technology,
  • Recognized diploma (AICTE approved institute) in any branch of engineering or technology,
  • B. Tech degree in Fire & Safety, with
  • Advance diploma in industrial safety or Post graduate diploma in industrial safety recognized by the State Government technical education board
  • Minimum Years of Similar Work Experience: 3 years experience for Degree candidates and 5 years experience for Diploma candidates
